BARNES FAIR GOES MEDIEVAL AS IT CELEBRATES THE 800TH ANNIVERSARY OF MAGNA CARTA AND ITS LINKS WITH BARNES

This year’s Barnes Fair has a medieval theme, inspired by the anniversary of Magna Carta. There will be a medieval castle (bright pink!), a photo booth where you can dress up historically to have your picture taken, some traditional music on the Bandstand and a host of themed floats in the Grand Parade. The 41st Barnes Fair takes place on Barnes Green on Saturday 11th July with some three hundred stalls selling everything from cakes, plants and books to vintage and designer clothing as well as a host of other attractions, catering for every age and taste.
